Compelling the United States to take responsibility for our climate pollution and help lead the world in a new direction requires a vigorous education campaign. The general public must understand: 1) the unmistakable and scientifically proven human link to global warming; 2) that the US emits the lion's share of greenhouse gas emissions; 3) the grave consequences of inaction; and 4) the bright opportunities in store when we constructively embrace change.

• This Institute utilizes the world wide web to engage the citizenry of our country and others to learn the facts, apply lessons and participate in solutions;
• We work locally and from coast to coast to motivate key sectors of civil society, especially schools and universities, to be active in providing solutions.
